That can work (kind of) for that division but what about the rest? Is there even another division with 2 clear cut "perceived" teams? Maybe they'll do it with that division considering those 2 teams should be in the hunt and that's a huge rivalry but I don't know if they can go through the others and find anything close. The AFC North is the closest but even if we assume the Steelers will remain 3rd in the pecking order (not a stretch but not a great assumption either), would it be better to have Ravens/Steelers in week 17 or Ravens/Bengals? What do you do with the AFC East? Just seems too hard to break it down like that.

They just announced it. Vikings vs Saints on opening day.

EDIT: Kruza beat me to it.

I wonder what pitiful Thanksgiving matchups we'll see.
The Patriots will most likely be playing the Lions on Thanksgiving. They have to play either the Jets or the Patriots because it has to be an AFC opponent in Detriot and if the Jets are the night game then that leaves the Pats.

It's all in good fun.

That said ES3 is now dead to me with Tra Thomas and Brod Bunkley.

I'm not so sure about that because the Lions complete 2010 regular season schedule has already been posted in the Detroit News. I'm sure it's likely the same way for other NFL teams which are covered by their respective local newspaper sites as well.
