I agree, I'm just saying, if they're going to move, Montreal makes negative sense. Go from a small market who loves football, to a small market that doesn't. It's a step down.

Didn't read SPTO's post before I posted this. I still don't think Jacksonville should move, but if they do, it will be to one place: LA.

Wayne Weaver has been adamant about keeping the Jags here. Hopefully he sticks to his words.

Any team moving to LA won't be anytime soon.

Re: NFL shoud expand to Canada

Yeah I don't think the Jags should move either as long as Weaver is committed to keeping the team there. Honestly, Toronto is the only viable option for the NFL if they want a Canadian team. There was a Canadian group that tried to get their hands on the Rams but that didn't come to fruition. (thankfully)

Honestly, I don't even want Buffalo to move as that would just be horrible. If there's going to be a new team it'd have to be an expansion team if LA comes to fold through expansion.

If Toronto is such a dream place, why do you lose every good player you have and resort to signing garbage players to 10 million a year?

We go over this every other month and every time it's the same.

I'm aware of what Weaver is saying, and I agree that they'll stay.

I'm just saying, IF the Jaguars were to leave, they wouldn't move to Montreal. That's all I'm trying to get at.

Haha... I gotcha the first time. Just puttin' it out there for OTHERS who think the Jags go bye bye.

Carter cried his way out of Toronto

Delgado never wanted to leave but was forced to because JP Ricciardi had no use for him. Delgado still goes to a yearly charity function in the winter.

Halladay signed not one but TWO extensions, one of which was below market value and finally got fed up with the Jays not winning so rather then leave via FA he allowed the Jays to make the best deal they could

Bosh remains to be seen but if he leaves it's definitely not because he wants to get out of the city. He's actually made Toronto a big part of his life.

It's all in the dynamics of the franchises.

Actually the origins of Football come from Rugby so I guess it's England's game?
