AFC Championship game: Baltimore over the Pats
NFC Championship game: Saints over Packers

Super Bowl: Baltimore over Saints

Unless Mark Sanchez makes a huge leap in his play, the Jets won't get lucky again. The injury bug is bound to hit this team as well. Combine that with the fact that they have a lot of huge ego's, this team is going to be boom or bust.

I was torn between Miami/Houston/Cincy and even Tennesee/Jacksonville for the last AFC Wild Card spot. It's extremely hard to choose. It could go every which way. So I just picked Cincy by default as they made the Playoffs last year. In the NFC, the East is hard to choose. Who knows what the Giants D will look like or what Washington will look like. In the North, I picked Green Bay and I think they'll win the division regardless if Favre comes back or not.

Alright, the formula is that 50% of the teams that made it last year won't make it. So...

AFC East: New York
AFC West: San Diego
AFC South: Indianapolis
AFC North: Baltimore
Wildcards: Miami/Houston

NFC East: Dallas
NFC West: San Francisco
NFC South: Atlanta
NFC North: Green Bay
Wildcards: Panthers/Washington

Lets see, the injury bug hits New Orleans, Brett Favre doesn't come back, Cincinnati just misses, Houston finally gets there and the Panthers run the ball a ton. 2/3 of the AFC return and 1/3 of the NFC. It could be Washington or Giants, it's a close call.

Not much love for Cincy... I hope you guys are right. They won (correction, swept) the division last year with their best pass rusher going down pretty early in the season, and they made huge improvements by adding Bryant and Gresham, among others. They kind of scare me. I'm not counting the Steelers out just yet either. I see them being better than I think a lot of people are predicting (assuming Troy P can stay healthy).
