Didn't change my opinion of him one bit, if anything my opinion was worsened when the guy cut his kids completely out of his life and then stood there and said he didn't miss them. He still scumbagged the team and fans quitting after the offseason personnel time period, he still did the drugs, he still abandoned his kids.

I can't condone drug use or leaving his children to figure life out, but as you can tell he has developed into a good father who is there for his kids. Often times when a person has had a traumatic childhood, the thing they struggle with most or drugs and being a parent. Often times they run from that responsibility in fear that they will do the same to their children what happened to them. Knowing the guy back in our college days, he is far from a scum bag. This guy had the weight of the university and his family on him before he had time to mature.

Which one? He was diagnosed with several but they did not go into any kind of depth on the subject. The thing I never knew about was the incident involving his father, this pretty much destroyed the family and this seems to be the cause of most of his issues. It takes a lot of courage on his part to let some of this stuff come to light in the documentary, he's definitely a different cat. I did gain some respect for him, but i still disagree with him walking out on his kids, but it seems he's trying to break the cycle.

Have you watched a sports channel for the past 3 years?

Re: Espn's Run Ricky Run

ricky felt alot of peer pressure think about this for a sec your a heisman winning rb going to the pros the team that just drafted you is making you out to be the savior of New Orleans so you have to deal with being a first round pick also carring on a tradition as a heisman winning running back then to top it all off you have to go into training camp as the only rookie because your dumbo head coach gave up there entire draft to get you.

after watching the interview i see that ricky finally gets it and is not afraid to express his fealings the dolphins organization also needs to be reconized for not only understanding his problems but not giving up on him and giving him a second chance.
