True. Not sure they go 8-2, but considering they went 13-3 without him the year before with the D and running game playing like they did after the bye, I don't think it's a stretch to say they'd have a similar turn around.

Young was able to keep the chains moving enough to get those guys rest. You guys have got to call a spade a spade and realize without young we are 3-13 at best. Ask the Cardinals about VY
Calling "a spade a spade" does not mean stating your opinion as fact. Renegade, a fellow Titans fan, just broke down the injuries on D the first 6 weeks. When exactly were they healthy? And VY didn't keep the chains moving, the offense led by CJ kept the chains moving.

I'm not trying to say VY did nothing but you said he was the MVP of the team which is a joke.

And without CJ you probably lose to every team but St. Louis.

Re: Lendale White blames Chris Johnson for .500 finish

CJ was the MVP of the team without a doubt. That is obvious

however, VY's presence on the field was a big factor in the turnaround as well. That is an understatement. Young and Johnson together were a lot more for defenses to account for than Collins and CJ together. Dinger was able to do some creative things with Young in the backfield that he could not have done with Collins and they started winning the close games that they were losing early in the season.

The biggest difference after the QB change was a better ability to convert 3rd downs...and if you know football, then you know that converting third downs and extending drives certainly helps the defense. Those who say that a team's defense isnt somewhat connected to their offense doesnt know what they are talking about.

I don't think Lendale was trying to berate CJ, he was stating his opinion. using him 6 times a game the first 6 weeks is not splitting carries. CJ is such a weapon its easy to fall in love with that and only use him. The combination of VY and CJ led to the turnaround. You can't seperate their success from one another. Vince helps the running game tremendously, that was evident when they ran different versions of the option.

There's a difference between separating them and calling VY the team MVP.
