Re: WR Roy Williams: "I'm the man."

Why would they cut Williams to make room for Bryant when no one knows what he'll be like?

WRs have one of the steepest learning curves in the NFL. Bryant could step out there and be absolute garbage. He might never be an NFL #1. I dont think that. Personally, I think he'll be really good but you just never know.

Now if Bryant goes out there and puts up some stats... I'd consider getting rid of Williams.

If it takes the drafting of a stud WR to push this vet then I'm all for it. It can only make the roster, as a whole, stronger.
well he had calvin johnson on one side so that was a big part of it.

His second year (2006-07 season), he was a Pro Bowl alternate playing opposite of Mike Furrey. Calvin Johnson wasn't in the league yet.

by weeks 6 Dez will have his spot..

Roy will be crying again that Romo don't throw him the ball enough.

Cowboy fans will want him out the door.

I didn't know he still played for the Cowboys. I thought they had cut him.

Re: WR Roy Williams: "I'm the man."

What is he supposed to say, the rookie can have my spot? No, every athlete from the weekend warrior to the pros all have EGO. It may not be rooted in truth or production, but it is present nonetheless. I actually like the moxie. Jerry even said when he drafted Dez, that he wanted spirited competition. What I am more disappointed about is Crayton and Sam Hurd asking out and missing team work outs. Crayton has a role on this team and Hurd is still being developed. I say talk noise, buckle your chin strap and go take your spot on what could be the best offense in the league, bar none.

Now if Garrett can't score more points with these weapons, then he is gone!!!!

Hell, Ogletree is already better than Williams. Dude has a mighty high opinion of himself.
