To be honest Revis don't deserve 20 million a year. Even Payton Manning ain't making no where near that. Revis might be good but he is no Champ Baily are Deion Sanders. Yes he might deserve a nice fat pay day. But no 20 million a year.

It depends on if the Jets want to get beat by Randy Moss every time...JK

If it were up to me, I would spend the 20 Million to retain Revis Island. He is probably THE best corner in the NFL right now.

He might be worth that money when his rookie contract is up, but it's not. The Jets are renegotiating with him, not because he's a free agent, but because they want to reward him for being a top corner. That said, Revis needs to understand he's only been in the league a few years and that he's only contractually owed a few mil next season. Anything in the 10-15 range should be viewed as a big reward.

I think it's nice to see Revis realize that he's not going to get 20 million a year, and that he also doesn't want to be viewed as greedy. I would love for the Jets to sign him for 20 mil a year though cause that would be a huge burden on their payroll.
