Kind of like Super Bowl XXXIV Rams vs. Titans.

St. Louis clearly had the advantage, but my response to that, is that football is based on speed anyway which can support both teams.

But when you're talking crappy weather, that is different.

When the Buccaneers were 0-whatever under 40 degrees, that is not a coincidence.

That doesn't really make sense. You're asking me how it's fair that a team built themselves to stop the run? Simple, don't build yourself like that. Nobody's telling you that you can't have a track squad of wide receivers if you want. And wasn't Pittsburgh vs. Arizona kind of that exact type of Super Bowl? Arizona was the huck the ball around the yard explosive team and Pitt was the tough built to dominate on D team. And Pittsburgh ended up winning.

This argument makes no sense. There have also been a ton of HORRIBLE games that have been played in cold weather/snow/rain/fog/mud etc. Just because there have been a few memorable ones doesn't mean anything.

Anyway, personally, I don't care that much. Doesn't bother me at all. I'll say this though, if it snows like hell on the day of Super Bowl 48 and it affects the game in a negative light, we won't be seeing another cold weather city(aside from domes) hosting a SB in a very long time.

However, they ended that streak by beating Philadelphia @ Philadelphia, 27-10 in the 2002 NFC Championship Game. The gametime temperature was 26 degrees.

Makes no difference to me, weather is part of the game every other week of the season. Pre, regular and post season. To eliminate that from the SB doesn't make much sense to me.
I think somebody beat me to it but you earn home field advantage in those games. The SB is supposed to be neutral. And...

... it's much easier for cold weather teams to adjust to warm temps than the other way around. There's somewhat of an argument when it comes to domes but personally, I'd rather they eliminate domes as choices than adding cold weather cities.

If they're going to start letting cold weather cities host the game (I doubt they will) then I agree that it should be a home game for the team with the best overall record. That would also help with teams resting players at the end of the regular season.

I like it, I tired of the same cities every year getting the Superbowl. I hope they open up to more cold weather major city sites..

In NYC in February, you could get a sunny, 45 degree day for the Super Bowl. That's not bad.

If you're lucky. According to ESPN, the average temp for early February in New York is 30 degrees.
