People hate Ochocinco

I dont hate him.... I do think that his name change was some of the dumbest ish I have ever heard and the shoes he promotes are horribly ugly, but overall I don't mind him at all.

Who exactly are you talking about? Did someone around here say they hate him or are you just venting? It's a nice story, I'm just confused at the sarcasm to anyone that hates him when I don't remember seeing anyone say they did. I think most people feel just as the article stated... the ignorant few group him with the T.O.s of the world but he's trying to entertain. He does some stupid things to get attention, much like Deion... I don't remember anyone "hating" Deion.

I don't think I hate Ochocinco, I think I hate the people and Bengals "fans" that start talking him up as the best WR in the league. He's a good wide receiver that the Bengals bandwagoners love to tout as being some demi-God.

And no, I'm not talking about people on this site, I'm talking about the thousands of people in Ohio who suddenly appeared with new Bengals jerseys when the team got good.

Meh, I still hate him. Plenty of professional athletes do stuff like that all the time. The only difference is Chad wants it to be known so he gets the spotlight.

The guy is what the NFL is supposed to be about. Being a good player, keeping the fans entertained all while not hurting the league's image, staying out of trouble, giving back to those less fortunate, being close with the fanbase, and having a big, friendly personality. Sure his premadonna antics may bother some, but the guy is just a big kid who seems to relish his rare opportunity at a dream.
