Other than that it's open game.

The threads description is best 10 year stretch ever. If the Patriots go 10-6 this year they have a 10 year stretch of 117-43. 160 games. 16 games a year. 10 years. I guess I don't get where the 11 years comes from.

During this stretch of dominance the Niners fielded arguably the greatest team of all time in terms of personnel so they get my vote.

The only team that comes close IMO are Lombardi's Packers in the '60s.
Yeah I think the Niners had the most success during a stretch. I do think the 70's Steelers teams were much better personnel wise than the Niners during theit stretch (except for the 89 team with Charles Haley, Romanowski, and Keena Turner on D).

Years 00' to 09'
If you count from 0 to 9 that's ten.
00' = Year 1
01' = Year 2
...
09' = Year 10
10' = Year 11

Also about the Browns, totally forgot about them. Definitely a good run, but I'm curious was this with the UUFC & NFL or just the NFL?

Either way it was a hell of a run.

Steelers were 97-44-1 from 1970-79 with 7 division titles and 4 super bowls.

It's not based on a hypothetical "IF". It's based on historic fact given a 10-year stretch of games.

His point was if they win 10 games this year he would vote for that 10 year stetch. 01' -10'. A ten year stretch, not 11. I just thought his point was pretty clear.

Yes I get it. I wasn't the one who went with the hypothetical, quote Cebby. My point is only that his hypothetical was indeed a 10 year stretch and not an eleven year stretch.
