Re: Who wins the NFC East?

Cowboys (but will choke in the playoffs)
Redskins (push for a Wild Card berth)
Giants (.500, just miss the playoffs)
Eagles (c'mon, they'll go between 5-11 and 8-8)

I couldn't tell you how WRONG you are. McNabb and even Manning and MILES ahead of him.

DAL: 12-4
NYG: 10-6
WSH: 7-9
PHI: 7-9
Haha, finally someone that abbreviated it as WSH and WAS. As a 'Skins fan, I always to WSH.

I think Dallas wins the division easily. And right now, Tony Romo is the best quarterback in the division.

Re: Who wins the NFC East?

Redskins sure won't be the bottom dwelling team this year, thats for sure. I think if the Giants get their defense right again, they will win...the offense is very high octane. Eagles are stupid for trading McNabb, to Redskins no less, but they won't be a terrible team. I think the NFC East is once again in the running for toughest division in football. AFC East has a weakness...the Bills...that I don't think the NFC East can match with any of those teams. I wouldn't be surprised at 3 NFC East teams making the playoffs this year if the rest of the NFC is lacking. Cowboys and Giants I think are sure bets.

I just puked in my mouth...sorry, 1 playoff win? And you have a super bowl QB in Manning and a completely underrated McNabb? Romo is 3rd in that division, I don't care what anyone says.

Not sure how one can even begin to make this argument without just being a blind homer for a team that is a rival of the Cowboys.

Eli Manning obviously has credentials over Romo given the Super Bowl ring he and his team won a few years ago, but I'm not sure how much else beyond that (though admittedly this is coming from someone who has never been impressed by Eli Manning). I do know that talent-wise Romo can do things as a player that Manning simply can't do, given Romo's mobility and his knack for making something out of nothing.

As to Donovan McNabb, Romo's team beat McNabb's three times last year (two of which weren't really contests) and the only team he ever played for got rid of him this past offseason. Up until this past season I would have put Romo and McNabb on the same level, and before then I would have put McNabb ahead of Romo, but I think that now a very convincing argument can be made that Romo has passed Dono.

Re: Who wins the NFC East?

Yes, I was looking at the stats last night of each of the QBs after reading the whole "Romo is 3rd comments" and I find that ludicrous. If you look at Romo's stats, he's improved exponentially at every key aspect of being a QB, he's maintained completion percentages in the 63%+ range - all the while passing much more than previous seasons -, had more completion yardage, raised his yards per completion, had a better TD/INT ratio, has given up the ball less (fumbles), has a higher QB rating and raised his winning percentage mark. Don't see how people can continue to blatantly hate on the guy when all he's doing is getting better and better every year.
