NFL Rewind: Anybody have/try this?

Just seen a commercial on NFL Network regarding this and is this something where they show the entire game with the actual commentary or is it something where they just show certain plays/highlights from the game?

I'm hoping it's the former since this has been something I have been dying that the NFL come up with something like this because unless you have games recorded/saved, then you'd basically have to wait until the NFL Network showed it's Classic Games and hoped that it's a game you want to see.

Yeah it's basically a re-run of the best games of the entire season every sunday. I think it's the best and most competitive games week by week and you get 4 of them.

It's a nice little fix for someone who misses football.

Oh so say if I wanted to watch a game from like 2003, in it's entirety with the actual commentators doing PBP, I wouldn't have that option to watch it or it's just strictly games from this past season?

For NFL Rewind, it's always games from the previous season. If they show games from any other season, it's normally not Rewind: it's NFL Classic Games or something.

I bought the NFL Rewind package on NFL.com (not sure if this is what you're referring to?).

Anyway, for about $50, you get full access to every game played from the last 2 years, including playoffs. The games are commercial free, and in HD. Quality really is impressive for a streaming video.

I only bought it in April to help get me through the offseason. I'm pretty sure it's available during the season too, but you're not allowed access to the archived games when there is a live NFL game playing. So you can't watch an old game on Sundays from 1:00 ET to about 11:00 ET.

Also, I think it expires on July 31.

Watching NFL games with full commentary and no commercials is pretty awesome. They show every second of the game that was televised.

Do you mean NFL Replay or Rewind because those are two different things? Replay is the regular show that comes on on Sunday's. Rewind is a paid service.
