The two should slug it out for the title. We know professionally, they think they are better than each other and are willing to smack talk to each other. This isn't much different than Rice vs. Moss.

Other than Moss isn't comparable to Rice, that's like comparing Dan Marino to Joe Montana.

Re: Putting the qb argument to rest

Manning is clearly better than Brady.

The only argument for Brady is the same one that produces Troy Brown>Randy Moss, Teddy Bruschi>Ray Lewis, and Kevin Faulk>Marshall Faulk.

I wouldn't say it's that cut and dry as only being Patriots homers who'd say Brady was better than Manning. For me it is too close to call, although I realize Brady was lucky enough to play for a defensive genius at HC whereas Manning had to put up with a lot of lousy defenses in his time in Indy and would have more rings if not for the Colts efense of years gone by.

Re: Putting the qb argument to rest

Manning is basically an offensive coordinator playing QB, there isn't anyone else in the league that approaches that statement, and what he does on the field probably makes him the best QB we'll probably see this generation.

Nobody could step in and run that team the way he does.

Brady is a great QB in his own right, but Manning is better.

There are more than just Patriots fans who believe that rings are the end all be all of judging players.

Manning now, Brady for most of their careers.
