The guy who hit the Shot Heard 'Round The World dying seems pretty important to me. And baseball's still going. And Carmelo wants out of Denver.

Doesn't seem like there's a lack of stories. I don't think any of us are saying "don't cover Favre at all". But we'd appreciate some moderation because other things ARE happening.

Fact is he was in that situation and he choked. Simple as that. You can say all you want about AD's fumbles, and whatever else went wrong in that game but it doesn't matter. Favre had a chance to send his team to the Super Bowl and choked... again.
Dang, I was going to go the "if if and buts were candy and nuts, we'd all have a Merry Christmas" route. But, you beat me to it with the "should've, could've, would've". Well played.

lol. Typing it isn't as fun as saying it out loud especially with the proper inflection.

Wasn't Percy Harvin given like a week to report to camp or else be cut? Even though his grandma died and his migraines were flaring up again?

Or is there more to this?

Thank you. I don't think I could've responded any better than that.

Longwell stole his thunder by telling Rachel Nichols that Favre said he's in.

I would imagine we'll get 2 more weeks of will he/won't he so Favre can do it on his own terms.

And no, I'm not serious.

I would like to disagree with you my good man
The teams and all players on the field make the game fun to watch. Farve is just another player, albeit a "premier position" in several hundred who(whom?) make this game fun to watch, good day sir! *upset willie wonka tone*
