Tanard Jackson's a good choice, but I like Sammie Stroughter and Sabby Piscitelli. Even Barrett Ruud is pretty unknown outside of guys that play fantasy football with IDPs.

Those two guys are absolute animals when it comes to run blocking, especially Polite who is simply a hammer.

Now, I'm not sure; pretty much every other good Cowboys' player gets talked about ad nauseam, lol. Tashard Choice, maybe?
Agreed. I felt Phillips would have won out for #2 at TE by mid-season; he's like Witten, Jr.

Sucks for Choice; such a versatile back who could be having 1000 yard seasons if it weren't for that log-jam. If the Cowboys let him walk he's going to make another NFL franchise really happy: great RB with no wear 'n tear.

Those people apparently are not AFCN fans.

BTW, Lawrence Vickers is flat out crazy. He's now Owen Schmitt crazy, but he may be Romanowski crazy.

Re: The Best Little Known Player On Your Team?

Domata Peko (DT) - he's a great "dirty work" type of player and a great locker room guy who doesn't get talked about lot around the league. I don't think he'll ever put up big numbers because of what he's asked to do, but that run defense looks a whole lot different when he's not in the line up.

Andrew Whitworth (LT) - he didn't get the votes last year, but he quiety had a Pro Bowl caliber season protecting Carson's blind side. Not the most athletic guy at the position, but he's another selfless locker room guy, he's got experience playing up and down the line, he's tough mauler in the run game and a very good in pass protection. He actually held up real well against Jared Allen last season.

Re: The Best Little Known Player On Your Team?

For the Pats, I think I'd have to go with Brandon Tate, who should have a good season after being hurt all last year. I'd go with Edelman, but most people know he's Welker 2.0.
