You really have to question why Favre came back if he doesn't really want to. Is the allure of a possible championship (the Vikes are still a primetime team though now injuries and the O-Line looking not as good has diminished that) really THAT strong?

Either way I think the season won't bode well for Favre, the Vikings and Childress. (I could see him getting fired)

Viking and Brett will be fine. He will make another WR great this year too. Brett does that with all his teams. AD has something to prove in that Saints game and so does Brett. I still say the Vikings win this game.

If I had to put a number on it I'd say both teams will score over 21 points but, the Saints eventually beat them out by 10 or more points. It's possible that the Saints only score 10 but, it's very doubtful.

Like the optimism though but, this should be a good one to start off the season.
