Braylon had one year where didn't drop every pass thrown to him (2007) and who could forget Michael Jackson/Dyson (for one game)?!

You think it's just a coincidence that we haven't had a WR ever since we haven't had a decent QB?

Receivers were open last year and they'll be open this year. It's just up to Delhomme to hit them.

This will sound a lot like John Madden... But if Delhomme stays on target and the WRs have good hands - we will have a great chance at going .500 or better simply because our defense CAN take control occasionally.

Re: Browns @ Buccaneers

If Delhomme hits the WR'ers, they'll have a chance of being .500.

I still am thinking 6-10, 7-9.

That's easier said than done. Delhomme was only good when he had a great defense to bail him out after his many turnovers.

I never said I expect Delhomme to be good.

I'll be happy if he completes his career average, as that means he's around 60%, which is a vast upgrade. Hopefully Holmgren can settle him down and not try and force every throw.

I will say that Delhomme looked incredible in the pre-season, although there is about a .01 % he plays THAT well. He will bounce back, I think.

And if the Bucs defense plays like it's Super Bowl defense, they'll stand a good chance of being .500 too... I'd say it's about the same odds
