Please somebody tell me why peoples are sleeping on the Eagles

well the reason people are "sleeping" on them is because this year is a transitional year as stated above. it would be way above expectations to get 10 wins. not impossible, not not probable

Read my whole post. I pointed out the age to point out the inexperience. You've got to show and prove and the young pups haven't proven anything yet... Kolb especially with all of TWO starts. Not to say they can't, but there is a reason why expectations aren't through the roof.

They have a very tough schedule, a quarterback with two career starts under his belt, a running back who was a disappointment last season and the smallest defensive line in the NFL in a division full of big, oversized offensive lines. Sounds like expectations are right where they should be considering all of those factors.

A young QB who will have the reigns for the first time in his career and an overall young team that is transitioning in all phases of the game....That's a recipe for a middle of the road year. They'll be anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 IMO.

The Eagles don't deserve any hype at all, especially with the way they were dismantled in the playoffs. Now they're starting a guy who is getting talked about because he had two 300 yard games against a team that had a big lead and played prevent and another one that was just bad all around.

Mccoy broke the rushing recored last year for the Eagles how is that disaapointing, he was the three leading rushers out of the rookies running backs and had 40 catches
