Week 3: Indianapolis Colts @ Denver Broncos

4:15 start time on CBS. Most of the country will see this game.

To be honest, if this were in Indy I'd expect a blowout. But Denver has arguably the best home field advantage in the league so anything can happen. The Broncos running game(or lack thereof, so far at least) shouldn't pose any major problems for the Colts. Denver has a pretty good secondary, but they don't have Dumervil to put pressure on the QB. I don't get very many Broncos games so I'm not sure of any other pass rusher on their team, but without a running game and a consistent pass rush, I don't see how they'll be able to stack up against the Colts.

Colts 30-17

Discuss.

Bailey and Goodman both arent healthy. Long day ahead.

42-10 Colts.

Both Bailey and Goodman haven't been on the practice field this week.

Manning's 4 starts, averaged 37 points vs Broncos according to Coach Bellick

4 starts? What's he basing it off? The Colts and Broncos play like every year including a couple in the Playoffs. I will say that Manning, statistically, has always torched Denver. I think his best two statistical playoff performances, aside from maybe the Jets game last year, not sure, came against the Broncos. But each team is completely different now and if I remember correctly, Manning threw 3 INT's last year against them.

Two of the recent games in Denver came as throw away games and I'm pretty sure Manning didn't play in at least one of them.

Those playoff games were atrocious. I don't remember the score, but I remember actually being glad I had a plane to catch.

The secondary is in trouble this week and the Denver OL has struggled this year a bit in both the run and the pass so without a rushing attack the Broncos could be in trouble.

So now Moreno is out for the game as well.

I guess we'll get a chance to see how Maroney does for the Broncos.

Sounds like it could be a long day for Denver. It's good that they added Maroney for Depth because you can't be one dimensional and be successful.

BTW Manning's had 7 starts in his career with a record of 5-2. He threw for 12 TDs and 5 INTs. So he's had quite a bit of success.

Wonder what Belichick would give up to have Maroney back now that Faulk is out for the year

Atleast I'll have the Rockies to watch during the afternoon. I think the NFL just likes to see the Broncos play the Colts for some sick pleasure, outside of the 4 year cycle, they always seem to play the Colts more than usual.
