Chargers @ Seahawks

Another potential nail bitter in the making for SD. Heavy rain(I believe is expected) and a loud stadium has the making of this game being a repeat of week 1 at KC. Even with the dominating performance from last week I am still worried just because, It's September and the weather/crowd definitely isn't going to help. I honestly expect the Chargers to beat this team quite easily but, I have my doubts.

I don't believe Mathews will be playing in this one when it's all said and done even though he believes he can play I'm sure they would like to rest him for a week unless he's ready to go. As much as I'd like to see him play It's more important that SD have him to be healthy late in the season going into the playoffs. Tolbert will more than likely be starting IMO this week.

Last time they played in Seattle, much like this game they had a decided advantage in talent, and played like crap. It took a desperation 50 yd td to VJ late in the 4th to win it, and Rivers had what was probably his worst game as a pro.

Not super optimistic about this one.

I think we have a great chance of winning this game especially since it is at home. Matthews out is a bonus and if Hasselbeck gets going without throwing a few picks we should win. Our D has been great so far this season and they should contain Rivers.

Could be a lot of turnovers in this game. I could see this looking like last week if Rivers throws a couple of picks. Chargers defense played lights out last week and I could see the same thing happening this week.

Ya should be a close defensive battle. Tough one to call really.

If you go strictly on talent SD should win easily. Chargers are better and deeper at every position.

I think the Chargers run game is better with Tolbert starting.

That being said they never play well in Seattle.

But like you said earlier. We barely won last time, but that was with Rivers still in his 1st year starting and arguably his worst game as a pro.

Granted our defense may not be as good as it was 4 years ago, althought I would say we are on our way there, but seattle isn't as potent either.

Id like to say we have this in the bag,
but.
Its the Chargers. They love nailbiters!

Re: Chargers @ Seahawks

So BK do I start Tolbert over Matt Forte in fantasy?

Btw fantasy football is my only tie to the NFL. I only hate a few teams and am indifferent to the rest.
