The age difference itself is not the issue Professa was referring to I don't think. This guy getting with a 19 year old is simply not a responsible thing to do for a guy in his position. There is a significant maturity disparity at play (although one could certainly question the player's maturity in this case as well). Teenagers are naive, they lack good life experience-based judgment, and they make their decisions accordingly. Your average person in their late 20's or 30's (and older) will always likely say the same thing.....that they are completely different people than what they were in their teens. They'll tell you that, like all teens, they thought they had it all figured out in life when in reality they knew exactly jack about life and about the world. Teens are still babies, they're just too naive to realize it.

How so? The poster is saying because of Kassim's FAME(which is debatable in the first place) he shouldn't be dealing with younger women. Look at Jack Nicholson? He's been nailing nothing but 21 year olds since he broke up with Anjelica Huston.

Not condoning nor agreeing w/ Osgood having relations w/ a 19 yr old. BUT...

Why do females between 11-14 get their cycle at that age? Why? Because the human body is designed to start spitting out babies at the time this physical change is complete in a female.

Civilized society in the US has enacted laws that govern this aspect of human life. Nevertheless though, from a very basic standpoint, the female body is ready at a very young age to produce offspring. If human life was on the brink of extinction I'd imagine there would be no issues right?

Anyways...Osgood is well within his right to do whatever he wants w/in the confines of the law with another person of 18 yrs or older. Should he probably have used better judgement? Sure... But he's a damn WR, and what % of athletes who play that position seem to have any capacity for judgement.

Honestly, stereotyping someone because of their age is still stereotyping. Unless someone knows this girl personally, there's no reason to be talking about her maturity at all. It's not even like she did anything "immature" in this story. It's funny that her age is even mentioned. I was focusing more on:

a) the fact that she has a crazy ex boyfriend with a restraining order and probably didn't tell Osgood

b) she got in a shootout in her mama's house with this dude

c) she owns a gun with a laser

Right there w/ you both. The age thing is a non-point. She could've been older than Osgood and a jealous gun-wielding boyfriend could've entered.
