Re: Merriman done in SD

Merriman definitely should take some blame because he waited too long after being injured by Jeff Fisher's cheap shot in retaliation for Vince Young running into Merriman after a handoff. He also has made several other poor decisions, but whatever.

Merriman sucked after he was done juicing.

I suspect we will be hear the same career path for Clay Matthews.

I guess that puts Cowboys fans back at .500 after losing the even greater Ed Reed/Roy Williams debates.

Ha, the cheapshots are flying in here. No reason to put the two in the same category unless you have info we don't.

Innocent till proven guilty.

Let's put it this way, I will be surprised if Matthews juices, especially since his former teammate was caught.

The Packers could use Merriman if healthy.

Edit- I get it, a Bear fan, ok, par for the course.

So a year after he got caught he still made the Pro Bowl and the Chargers fielded one of the best defenses in the league. Since his injuries niether him or the Chargers defense have been close to the same.

Yeah, it was the PED's.

It was a cheapshot. It's not even up for debate. Two Titans players were fined for it.

Agreed. After a year of testing clean or whatever it was he was still dominant. It's easy to point at Steroids, but to anyone that watched it's readily apparent he was never the same after the knee injury.

Now a lot of that falls on him. He played on it after he got hurt. Didn't get it repaired in the offseason, tried to play on it, made it worse, and is now where he is.

Good luck to him wherever he goes.

Actually less. They also lost the Steven Jackson/Julius Jone debate.
