Also the Giants have still yet to prove they are a legit team in my eyes. They were an atrocious last year after 5-0 and quit the last 2 games

This year they have beaten 3 weak teams in my eyes. The texans are weak and it shows by having the Cowboys and Giants both come into your home and spank you.

The Panthers blow. The Giants should not be talked about as elite. The Lions should have beaten the Bears in Chicago but for a bad call and hung 45 on the Rams the week before. they have weapons all over the field.
A
Besides Megatron, they have a stud tight end which always gives the giants problems. The Giants cannot cover good tight ends and they do not have the LB's to do so

I think they have the better team but that means nothing. The Lions are hungry and if they are not taken care of early. this will be a close game down the stretch and we might be getting picked off here.

Do not underestimate the weapons they have besides Johnson. Believe that
Jahvid Best is no joke either. They have some other talent at wr as well. They also have some depth at RB. The Lions are no gimme.

I agree 100%. This is not a game the Giants should be favored by 10 points. But I know my team and their history of playing down to the comp.

Best is a fast dude who will give a team with slow LB's fits. I hope the Giants wake up today and take this game like it is a division game and come out prepared and ready to play. This game does worry me

Re: Week 6 Lions @ Giants

The last away win for the Lions was 10-28-2007 against the Chicago Bears, so being away doesn't help Detroit in any way.

But, the Lions are a different team this year, and I like how we are looking for the future. I still think we'll end up with about 6 wins this year as well.

Like someone said, Hill is looking better and better each week, and with Calvin and Best both playing, the offense is pretty dangerous.

I've watched two and a half straight seasons of ugly football, and this is the first time since the '07 season that I have hope for this team.

Go Lions, you win today and that's called a "winning streak". Uncharted territory for the Lions lately, but it has to happen at some point.

The first two weeks without Stafford I was really hating on Hill, but now he's looking pretty damn good.

Great start Detroit

Same here, I thought he was just a bad QB after watching him play fo San Fran. Looks like he wasn't lying about the 49ers being a horrible sitaution for QBs.

Re: Week 6 Lions @ Giants

Giants are starting to move the ball at will it seems. Up 14-7 with 2 min left in the first half.

Side Note: Suh is going to be an absolute All pro player for a long time

Re: Week 6 Lions @ Giants

Can Drew Stanton lead us to victory if Hill is out the rest of the game? What happened to him btw? I had to leave the house for a second and missed it.

Edit: What and odd looking field goal.
