Re: Week 8: Packers @ Jets

GG Jet fans.

The Packers D stood up to the challenge of slowing down the Jets run game. As Woodson said, they eliminated the big plays on the ground.

I can see the Jets will rise or fall with Sanchez under center. They have a great D, and a good to great running game.

Inconsistent play at QB the way I see it.

Re: Week 8: Packers @ Jets

This was the first shutout of the entire NFL season by any team.

Re: Week 8: Packers @ Jets

Receivers were pathetic. So many drops, and getting 2 balls ripped out like that is unacceptable.

Agreed, it was a snoozefest on both sides, just glad the Packers escaped with a win and a shutout against a well rested team.

Yeah, but then again, had the line judge not given the Packers the ball on Tramon Williams play, I doubt the Packers would of gotten the ball via challenge. I think that falls under the inconclusive evidence type plays. And for the Woodson one, that's just pure luck we got it called our way. Any replay showed your player was down, but unfortunately you guys were out of challenges which saved that.

Both offenses sputtered, the Jets had a few big passing plays but pulled up lame to follow. Our passing game was in check pretty much, and we didn't run all that good. We needed special teams to not give up anything and defense to step up to win. I am actually shocked we won. Feels great but total unexpected for me.

Re: Week 8: Packers @ Jets

What a....strange game. But from what I heard(missed the 1st 3 quarters)the Defense was the reason we won this game and that the Run Defense did a good job against the Jets Ground Game.
