those two questionable interceptions I thought once the reciever was down . if there was a dual possesion it was the offenses ball. I don't mind a fight for the ball , but it was never allowed for the couple of times i've seen it.

I know the Woodson INT definitely wouldn't have stand if the Jets had any Challenges left. Luckily for us, they didn't.

The ex head of refs explained it very well on Fox. He said that if there is a struggle with the ball, whoever ends up with the ball, that team is in possession of the ball. Even Ryan said it the last one by Woody was very similar to the int by Williams.

It's a very clear rule that the ex head of refs said that is difficult to overturn.

A 6-0 Jets loss? I'm surprised coming off a BYE that this Jets offense couldn't muster a score.

I saw that , but i know i've seen the defense come up with the ball in that same instance and the offense was called with possession.

My question to that would be then why does it seem like the refs blow the whistle before clear possession is established, and what happens if both are holding onto the ball and neither give ground? Why can't other players come in and start smacking like in a fumble pile up?

Based on what I've been hearing about the game, I'm fairly glad I missed it. It just sounded like a boring game. Though, it certainly wasn't the blowout I expected. I'm suprised our defense actually held the Jets.

Now on to Dallas, which I've become extremely confident about us winning.

Re: Week 8: Packers @ Jets

Yeah the 1st one was questionable but the key is what was the call on the field, given the certain rules no way you can overturn that... It's in that Grey Area

The 2nd One, the Jets had no challenges so it didn't really matter.

Both Teams had their fare share of drops, The Packers wanted it more than the Jets did. Dom Capers did an excellent Job, IMO one of his best Schemes so far.

The Packers are in Good shape going foward though even with all the Injuries.
