And yes, it is the intention for the Bills to be 3-4. After a few games of getting gashed they started showing 4-3 fronts, but they will be a 3-4 team at some point full time.

Meh, I honestly think Merrimen is done. Now, if he can get back on the juice - with a better masking agent - then maybe this will be a solid pickup.

They'll swtich him back and forth between 3-4 LB and 4-3 DE. Anything to generate a pass rush, really.

Well Merriman is around 30 now. He is about the end of his carreer anyway. He might have about 2 more years at high speed. Then slow down in a few more years. Merriman had a nice carreer with the chargers. But like any player. At is catching up with him slowly but surly.

He's 26 years old, nowhere near 30.

His fall was getting on the field too quickly. He had a serious injury and he came back too soon.
