Another night of a primetime blowout?

Hopefully the Bengals make a game of it.

It has that potential. Apparently Roy Williams is healthy and starting at safety. I expect a heavy dose of Roethlisberger to Wallace deep passes because of that. The Steelers would be dumb not to exploit Williams being out there.

They didn't throw deep to Wallace last week. I don't know why but as a Steelers fan I just don't have a good feeling about this game. And next week New England comes to town. After losing to Cleveland. Yeah they won't be p'd off or nothing.

I think as Steelers fans, we never have good feelings about games. The Steelers very rarely just come out and blow out a team, even in their games this season where they've won by a decent margin, it's been close in the first half or teams have a made a push near the end of the game when they should've been down and out. The Bengals are gonna come out swinging, if they lose this one, their chances are pretty much nonexistant at this point, being 2-6 would put them behind the Browns.

That being said, I think the Steelers completely outclass the Bengals, and the offense tends to bounce back and play well after they have a game where the struggle, like they did against the Bengals. I predict the game to be close in the first, with the Steelers taking a slight lead at the half and then opening up that the lead in the third and hanging on in the fourth.

Steelers - 27
Bengals - 14

that's the problem they can't keep trying to throw it deep and not connect. I think the Bengals d will give that line fits. they are not playing well even in the wins its going to be a good game not a blowout by anymeans. Gay is going to have his hands full with jordan shipley. If gresham can get it over the middle the bengals will stay in this game. For the steeler run the freakin ball hit heath up and the other recievers not named wallace. Wallace needs to run some intermediate routes to set up the deep pass.

Re: Week 9 MNF: Steelers @ Bengals

They need to do what the Ravens are doing. Start using more screens and play-action plays. Arians does the same thing every week. Run the ball in the first half, take a few shots downfield, and then use play-action in the second half. I would imagine the Bengals will bring the heat on defense, since it worked so well for the Saints. So they need to be using more dump off plays that get his receivers the ball and let them do the work.

Yes, I can't wait to see another pathetic performance by the Bengals offense.
