Re: Yearly Awards, Who's In The Lead?

Haha I hope the whole Tampa Offense continues to pan out. I need someone to challenge my Falcons for years to come. The Tampa an Atlanta rivalry is a good one.

As for DROY Suh should win it. If Sean Weatherspoon never got injured he may have challenged for it.

Oh an Vick for MVP. If the Chargers finish with a losing record then Rivers most likely won't get it, not that he didn't deserve it but because they would have a losing record.

Re: Yearly Awards, Who's In The Lead?

From 1990 there have been 13 RB's who have won the OROY, 4 WR's (Carl Pickens, Randy Moss, Anquan Boldin, Percy Harvin), and only 3 OB's (Big Ben, Vince Young, Matt Ryan). The last QB to win the OROY before 2004 was Dennis Shaw in 1970, that's 34 years ago! Overall, Running Backs have won 30 out of 43 OROY

Also the last player to win the DROY who wasn't a LB was Julius Peppers in 2002. Since then, they have all been LB's. The last Cornerback to win DROY was Charles Woodson in 1998. The last Safety to win DROY was Erik McMillan in 1988.

Detroit has won four OROY and two DROY, six in total.

MVP: I could see Rivers getting it

OPOY: Vick, but if Rivers doesn't get MVP he'll most likely get this award

DPOY: Clay Matthews

OROY: Bradford, because he's a QB. Otherwise Mike Williams(TB)

DROY: Suh, Eric Berry seems to be stepping his game up so it could go to him

Comeback Player: Brandon Lloyd and this is only if Vick doesn't receive any other award

Most Improved: Mike Williams(SEA)

Forgot about Dez for OROY, he's up there too

Re: Yearly Awards, Who's In The Lead?

Doesn't Vick not qualify for comeback player? He was in the league last year, but was just a wildcat QB. That's the only reason I didn't put him there

MVP: Tom Brady (For now. When Rivers' team is on the right side of .500 again, he can have it.)
OPOY: Mike Vick
DPOY: Clay Matthews
OROY: Dez Bryant (41 rec, 539 yds, 5 TD, 14 punt returns, 14.4 avg, 2 TD's. Not to mention the media loves him.)
DROY: Ndamakong Suh
