I was having flashbacks to the Wannstedt years where we'd hold a team to ten points and lose. The defense was playing hard until the bitter end. The offense was just inept beyond belief. I'm hoping this embarrassment might be enough to get Henning fired, but Sparano will chock it up the the O-line being in shambles, Marshall missing half the game, and our third string QB playing like a third string QB.

Re: Thursday Night Football: Bears @ Dolphins

Well, the Bears have met my wins expectation already. Playing with house money in my eyes now. The schedule is tough down the stretch, but the D should keep them in a lot of the games.

This game was effectively over when Marshall went out with the injury. I'm still not sure why Miami didn't at least try to run the ball more. Sure, the Bears rush defense is good, but they really threw Thigpen into the fire off the bat.

I'll take a shutout any day. Miami's D played tough as expected, but a bad offense isn't going to get it done when the Bears execute their defensive game plan like they did tonight. Now they have 10 days to devise a plan against Vick. It better be a good one...

At 7-3, I still have the Bears going 6-10.
