Oh and Rusty Smith, is he from the south? LOL
Jacksonville native, and I'd rather be a Rusty Smith than an Alphonso Smith.

Oh well, was a fun season while it lasted. It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the offseason. I figured Vince was going to get cut, but after listening to local reports, it's sounding like it might be Fisher that gets the axe. That works for me. Maybe Chuck "The Bird" Cecil will be our new head coach? (*fingers crossed*)

Not saying this going to happen, but just to throw it out there. Didn't Tom Brady start out his career in the same type situation that Rusty is, just later in the season? Maybe he will? You don't think so do you..

I'm sure it's been brought up but no team in their right mind would give up any type of first or second round pick for Vince Young. The dude has some talent, but not enough to offset his emotional instability.

If the dude does not get his head right, he's done. He might already be done; I don't see him really recovering from this type of meltdown.

I quit listening to GM/Owners a long time ago. They also said Wade Phillips would not be fired this year. Same with Brad Childress.

I highly doubt Young is a Titan next season.

Re: Vince Young to Undergo Season-ending Surgery

I remember Rusty Smith at Florida Atlantic. I remember him playing in the New Orleans Bowl as a sophomore. He was spraying some nice balls all over the field: 5 touchdowns, game MVP and he seemed to have a real presence about him. I liked what I saw, but I didn't think he was ready to step in as a starting NFL quarterback. I can't call it, though. The Titans' staff must have seen something from him in training camp and pre-season, because for the past few seasons that I can recall, the Titans have only kept two quarterbacks on the roster.

Brady did have a chance to sit for full year, but you never know when lightning's gonna strike in this crazy NFL. With all this drama, the Titans are, what, one game out?

That's true but Adams is one of those old guys who've been around for years and years so I think it's 60/40 that you could see Fisher being fired.

He's at least worth a late 2nd or 3rd IMO.

Yeah he's got some character issues but, I think he's worth a 3rd at the least.
