Amen. How can anyone hate on The Who?

Looking forward, I'm calling Kings of Leon for next year.

I would love to see the FOO. STP or Pearl Jam would be solid acts too, both w/ recent albums too...

Foo....not a big enough name ( Hell, Prince did one of their songs at the Super Bowl and did it better.). STP....not a big enough audience for their music. Pearl Jam had 2 albums that were huge broad appeal...otherwise....nada. The Super Bowl is about acts with Broad Appeal over a long time or a Super hot Act now...with broad appeal. BEP fit both. They could Gaga, but she is a little unpredictable on stage. The only reason Prince was chosen is that he had calm down his stage act in the later years and just let the music do the entertaining (he is amazing in concert). Earlier Prince couldn't get in to the stadium to watch the Super Bowl, Let alone perform..lol (Darlin Nicki, anyone).

Anyone after Janet and Justin...its safety first.

Yeah, I've been saying the Foo Fighters for years. Other bands I'd like to see would be Kings of Leon or Jet would be cool, as well. If we're going with older bands then I think AC/DC would be a good choice before they get too old.

Re: Your Super Bowl halftime entertainment is...

I'm surprised BEP was selected.

I was expecting some combination of: Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kayne West, Emimem, Jay Z, or Taylor Swift.

The halftime show has never been about the "hardcore male football fan" so it doesn't bother me. It's just background noise.

Honestly, take Bieber, Perry, and Swift out of there, and that would actually be pretty sick. And Lady Gaga would totally perform with rappers lol that's right up her alley to do some weird stuff.
