Oh well it was a decent season while it lasted. Now we get to see Broken , I mean Brodie Croyle. Hopefully no one sneezes near him or he will get hurt.

He might last longer than Pennington.

Wasn't expecting a win in SD, but expected the battle of Missouri in St. Louis the following week to be close... leaning much further towards the Rams if Croyle is taking snaps.

Hopefully we just run it 80 times in the next 2 weeks.

Cassel's out? I think Croyle might've had a decent game once against the Chargers.

I adjust my prediction from 31-10 Chiefs to 21-10 Chiefs.

If Cassel doesn't go, Chargers win by 10.

If he does, Chiefs by 7.

Re: Week 14 Chiefs @ Chargers

I don't think that with Cassel not playing things would be that drastic for the Chiefs.

They have a hell of a running game and the Chargers got gutted up by the Raiders last week. Jamaal Charles has always done well against the Chargers. If the defense can't stop the Chargers (why wouldn't they? The Chargers sputtered last week and all the Chiefs need to do is blitz constantly. Norv will never go away from his "7-step drop/home run plays" anyway.)

The Chiefs will be able to control the clock and the ball. If Cassel is in, the team wins decisively, if he isn't, the Chiefs will still win if they can run the ball down the Chargers throats (and I see no reason why they wouldn't be able to).

The Chiefs do have a hell of a running game, but the problem is that for some reason we've had some games where Jamaal Charles has only had like 3 carries in the first half with Thomas Jones sitting on 15 for ~30 yards.

Charles has 36 runs against the Chargers, hardly a big enough sample size to make a call either way. We're not talking LT vs. the Raiders by any stretch.
