If the season is canceled next year and you fire your head coach you have to pay him and the guy you hire for a year when they arent bringing in any money.

I'm to the point where hearing Singletary talk after a game makes me want to slit my own throat.

Very little revenue will come in if there is a lockout. Plus, I think the niners are still paying Nolan. I'm not sure, but I think he's on the books one more year for the difference between his Niners and Broncos salary.

I just don't see a lame duck coach being kept around to run a draft, which happens whether or not there is a lockout.

I like singletary i think he's bringing pieces to the team its just the qb position is really killing him. they have a good to great line in the making. Good rbs talented recievers and all pro tightend. Defensively linebackers is alittle old mostly spikes and talented cbs , don't know much bout the safties though.

You let the GM run it. Position coaches would stay around to look at tape and prospects with the hope of a job.

This post couldn't be more off base. Our O-line is horrific. Good to great? That is the height of absurdity. QB would rank a distant 4th on the list of our problems. 1. O-line 2. Lack of any pass rush 3. Secondary.
