Re: what should your team do?

I say we do the unpopular thing and hit up free agencey for some WR and OL help. There will be a lot of WRs in the draft but considering how we played this year we may not be up for waiting a few years for one to develop. There are a ton of viable free agent WR Ochocinco, Braylon edwards, Santonio Holmes, Mike Sims Walker, etc. A big target like Edwards could be exactly what Cutler needs/wants. Ol help is another matter. We need a gaurd and left tackle, at a minimum, although this group has played sooo much better the last few weeks. But i say we adress need in FA and then draft the best defensive player with our first pick. then alternate OL, WR, OL, DB, OL... best available afterward.

Re: what should your team do?

Jerruh's list....

1. Do not hire Jason Garrett.
Ray Lewis once said we have the most simplest offense
in the NFL. The Ravens game 2 years ago Lewis knew
every tendency, every audible.
We were dominated for almost 3 quarters..
We came back in that game because of Tony Romo's
scrambling. This offense is all Tony Romo. Plays would
break down, he would scramble, make a play and Garrett
got all the credit...

What Garrett did these past few weeks, only shows
how bad a head coach Wade was. Any good coach
will install discipline. You don't have to be a hard ***
just consistent.

2. If they are sticking to the 3-4. Draft some Big body's
Draft a NT, (350lbs +) Pick up a Free Agent Nose to rotate in.
IE Pat Williams. He did it in Buffalo...Keep Spears,
Move Ratliff to DE.

3. Trade Barber, make Choice the starter, sprinkle Jones in.
Jones is actually better as a compliment back. He
is not durable, and tires really fast. When you limit
his carries, he is explosive.

4. Hamlin might not have made plays, but he always
lined us up correctly. Sensebaugh and Hamlin
worked well together. I'd say Keep Sensebaugh.
Cut Allan Ball or move him to a back-up corner role.
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah might develop into a nice FS.
Maybe move Newman to Free Safety

5. When you hire Head Coach, let him hire his Offensive Coordinator.
Establish an identity on offense. I am so tired of the Garrett
Regime. His play calling flat out sucks

6. Hire real GM.

They are going to hire Garrett, I can feel it.

Its like the EA exclusivity contract all over again.
Giants, Eagles and Redskins will be very happy...

Cowboys:

Cowboys need a new owner/GM. Jerry doesn't have the patience to be a GM. He goes with the sexy instead with what is needed. How can any GM go into the season with our kicker and safeties?

I am tired of Dallas having all this talent when I cbs can't perform in our scheme.

We need some depth at OL and Ball should never step on the field again for any team at Safety.

ESPN just announced that the Cowboys are gonna remove the interim tag from Garrett. Seems like your "feelings" were right lol.

Earlier this year I read that Hue Jackson chose Oakland over Chicago because he was promised to be the next head coach in Oakland. I don't know details but it seems logical. If you look at it, the reason we had a good season was because the offense turned things around which is due to Jackson(and McFadden playing like a beast). I would not be surprised at all if Cable was fired and Jackson was named the next head coach.

The Guy is an Absolute tool..
Here is what we will have next year to look forward to...

Show us a Blitz look, and we will Audible to a Draw play.
When I hear Kill Kill Kill.. I want to Kill Garrett..

Our short passing game is behind or at the line of scrimmage..
Press our Receivers, and he will still call a smoke route..
The only time you do that is when the DB is 10 yards off
of the receiver. I have never seen any D do that to us
in years...Dez Bryant would get Doubled.. But they never
let him have a free release..

There is not one 3 yard out or slant in his book..
He will pass on first down.. 80% of the time.. then
run on 2nd down 99%..

He does not understand the red zone.. Passing on
first down from the 9 Yard line.. then he wonders
why his teams gets yards, but not TD's..

He will run sweeps with Barber, our slowest back, then
run our fastest back between the tackles..
He will put Barber in at FB and fool no one..

He made his career off of Romo scrambling and chucking
it up to TO..All Improvisation..

Romo is good QB, I really think he could be great..
But with Garrett as his mentor, he will go nowhere

I mean, I know it's Al Davis, but that makes no sense. Unless they're going to bring in a big name guy, but that's no their M.O.

That said, I'd love Gruden back.

Looks like it's gonna happen:

Tom Cable is unlikely to return as the Oakland Raiders' coach, a league source said Sunday.

Raiders owner Al Davis is expected to survey the coaching landscape, and he will not decide Cable's future until some time in the middle of the month.

With a 31-10 victory over the AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Cable led the Raiders to an 8-8 record this season, including a perfect 6-0 mark in the division. But Cable is 17-27 overall since taking over as coach in the middle of the 2008 season.

Cable presently doesn't have an official contract with the Raiders, but Davis can pick up an option for two more year
