Comeback player of the year award

I thought this award was for players who got hurt and came back or for players who had a terrible season and came back and played great. Not an award for someone who killed dogs for no reason and then got the privilege to come back and play football and make millions.

Yes Vick did his time in jail and it looks like he has changed personally but this award should be for someone who didn't break the law.

Vick played last year so I don't see how he could win it this year, but it seems the NFL is bending backwards in order to hype the guy up again for the bottom line (ie: $).

I don't think it's specified how someone is able to "Comeback" but coming back from injury seems to be commonly accepted. With that said, it seems like Vick will get the Offensive Player of the Year award so you won't have to worry about him getting the Comeback one.

If he doesn't get OPOY, then he is a shoe in for the comeback award as no one came back the way he did this year
