Re: Week 17: Cowboys @ Eagles

I'm content to bring Garrett back, I think, because he is directly responsible for the Cowboys' "turnaround"; they did win five of the eight games in which he was interim head coach (compared to one of eight under Wade Phillips), and with Jon Kitna and Stephen McGee as his quarterbacks to boot.

A bunch of decisions need to be made about a bunch of players, though; I'd like to see a fair amount of roster turnover, and I'd like to see Marion Barber and (particularly) Roy Williams included as part of this turnover.

This was a good turnaround for Dallas that's cool they kept Garrett which was the plan all along I believe. Fixing the Defense backfield will be a tall order in one year.

Was Philly playing their starting O-Line yesterday as well or were some of those the backups?

I believe only one starter played, and left during the game to be replaced by another starter.

Which would help explain how Demarcus Ware got three sacks, after having not brought Vick down once in the previous matchup, and consequently became this year's "sack king", so to speak.

Is it me or Ware had a very quite 15 sacks?

Eh, we had 36 as a team, which is middle-of-the-pack. Our next highest individual sack total was Anthony Spencer with five. You want to talk about quiet, look at that guy.

Ware almost had as many sacks as the Denver Broncos did as a team, lol. He was only but so quiet, but I don't think we got consistent pressure as a team and opponents could key on Ware more often than not.
