Re: Vince Young done as a titan.

why would you publically admit this? Now no one would even think of trading for him at all. They will just wait for you to release him.

Well, they could still trade him. Say a team is very interested in him, and doesn't want the other 30 teams to have the chance to sign him (and I'm not saying every team will be interested because they obviously won't be but anyone who is interested). Then he could still be traded if that team feels it is worth the money he is making and whatever they would have to give up. But if no team is that interested, yeah, they'll just wait til he's released.

Re: Vince Young done as a titan.

I think he should be a No. 2 QB coming off the bench for a little while, and he can come off the bench on occasion and put in a little work, a la 2009 Mike Vick.

I do think a little humbling of his attitude (via him being a No. 2 QB) would definitely help him mature, but I do wonder if he'll be doing the same antics he pulled in Tennessee if he is named a No. 1 too soon, though.

Only time will tell if he will carry his attitude problems into his late 20s and early 30s or if he will eventually "get it." I think his ego needs to be shaken a bit to see his full potential come to light.

I agree, I mean 16 seasons to be where they are now means they should end this Fisher experiment. He'll surely be worth more to somebody else than he is to the Titans, IMO. A fresh start would do him good, as well.

Re: Vince Young done as a titan.

Me personally I wouldn't have a problem if both of them were let go but I'm glad to see that the Owner isn't letting the players just do whatever the hell they want just because of draft status.

I don't know if VY will ever be a QB comiserate with his draft position, but with a move like this comes perspective and opportunity. If he takes advantage. He needs to focus in football 24/7 and decide if he wants to be an NFL QB.

I think a change could serve him well.
