Re: Should the Broncos can Orton? Where should he end up?

According to Peter King Elway doesn't believe that Tebow is an NFL QB. King believes that if the team that McDaniels goes to as a coordinator will likely try to acquire Tebow because McDaniels believes in him.

I'm not saying I agree or disagree with this but that's the scuttlebutt.

Absolutely not...I'd vomit if I had to have Brady Quinn as my #2 quarterback.

The only reason Kyle Orton is considered a "good" QB in the league, is because this is by far the worst 2 year span of starting QB's.

Trent Edwards
Ryan Fitzpatrick
JP Losman
Chad Henne
Carson Palmer
Kyle Orton
Derek Anderson
Max Hall
Matt Schaub
David Garrad
Jason Campbell
Jake Delhomme
Jimmy Clausen
Charlie Whitehurst
Alex Smith
Shaun Hill
Troy Smith
Chad Pennington
Marc Bulger
Jay Cutler
Rex Grossman
Eli Manning

That's just of the top of my head. So yeah great group of Quarterbacks over the last 2 years.

Only reason Orton has great stats is because he gets his usual 70 TD bomb when a defense takes a play off. Only thing he is good for is fantasy.

He's had 1 TD pass of 70 yds. His 2nd longest was 61. The rest were 40s or lower, 7 games counted for this year with 40-50 range. He had 3 longs last year, 87 (Stokley), 75, 63.

His long plays can be compared to Manning if you want, but you can keep over exaggerating to knock Orton. Its not unusual and I'll leave it at that
