What's greedy about charging the market price?

If people weren't "greedy" there would be no economy.

I don't see the appeal really. If the Cowboys were in it, that would be one thing. But I don't see why a neutral fan would want to be there. And I would think that if a Bear/Packer/Jets/Steelers fan was going to spend the money to get to Dallas, they would go all out and get an actual ticket.

But, I don't understand why anyone would have a problem with them doing this, if people want to pay the money, good for them.

Simple Supply and Demand, if there is demand for that, then why not charge that price?

Maybe I'm just overreacting but it seemed a bit inappropriate. And it's from a notoriously bad journalist, Chris Chase.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Are people stupid enough to pay $200 to sit outside of a stadium to watch a game (actually $800 since you have to pay for four tix)? It'll be interesting to see if how many tickets they sell.

Goodell - The worst thing to ever happen to the NFL.

There are a lot of other situations you could use to argue this.

But how does the NFL selling more tickets have anything to do with Goodell being terrible for the NFL?

I'm still lost as to why so many keep saying this in this thread? So what if the sales suck? How does that affect you, me, the players, or anyone associated with the NFL at all? I'm lost...

No, it applies here as well. By putting the price this high for the right to just sit outside a stadium to watch a game sends a horrible and arrogant message to the fans that have made the NFL so popular. And if nothing else, Goodell is certainly arrogant!
