Re: Carson Palmer demanding a Trade From Bengals.

I don't normally like rolling with Mort as my source of info, but assuming it's true, I can't say I'm that surprised... and I can't blame him. He just turned 31 and the Bengals still feel like they're searching for an identity. I keep hearing terms like "fresh start" coming out of the organization; which I've heard at the end of at least four seasons now.

I would wish him good luck, but with Mike Brown and his stubborn, old-school ways, I can see him digging in and not giving an inch like he did with Chad. Although, I think they're some teams out there that'll throw out a king's ransom to get him.

Yeah but when you're QB pretty much says he doesn't want to be there then I think you have to move him.

True that, Bengals should be looking to get rid of him anyways, this just makes it a bit easier.

The few times I watched Palmer played he looked like a shell of his former self. He was just off.

Carson Palmer will ask the Cincinnati Bengals to trade him and will contemplate retirement if he does not get his wish, according to several sources.

Palmer, the No. 1 overall pick by the Bengals in 2003, was unavailable for comment as he and his wife Shaelynn were awaiting the birth of their third child.

A Bengals spokesman had no comment. The team has Palmer under contract through 2014.

He could always come play in the CFL.

Actually after his devastating knee injury in the 2005 playoffs against Pittsburgh, Palmer had a great 2006 season. (4,035 yards, 28 TDs, 13 INTs).
