Have you ever lived in Cincinnati?

Where are you seeing all this terrible traffic? What city doesn't have traffic? Chicago has terrible traffic, Cincinnati has light traffic compared to Chicago.

Brutal climate? Bit of an exaggeration? Hot in the summer, cold in the winter, mild in spring/fall. Yeah, real brutal.

I never denied Cincinnati had guys with previous arrests. But every NFL team does. Everyone knows Cincinnati signs guys with questionable pasts, because our owner is cheap. And if they pan out like Benson it's a win for the Bengals. If they don't, well we got that player for cheap and it doesn't hurt. The majority of these arrest occurred 6 plus years ago. It's not like the Bengals players are having an influx of sudden arrests causing Palmer to leave.

Nope, just visited.

I saw the traffic near downtown. I don't know.

The entire midwest has a brutal climate. Any region with snow storms is brutal to me.

True.

True.
Just an FYI, most of the players that play for the Bengals and Reds live here year-round. Sorry your visit to the city didn't meet whatever expectation you had.

Yeah. I won't be surprised at all if he has a breakout season next year. Big chance for him to revive his career.

If Palmer wants to rejuvenate his career, it's going to have to be with a different franchise. He has no future in Cincinnati. The Bengals will never be a good franchise with Mike Brown in the front office. Sure, we will get to the playoffs every now and then, but with Brown the Bengals will never have continuous success like the Steelers.
I see this as the baseline reason for any player wanting to leave Cincinnati. I've seen it far too often...until this man is gone, nothing good will come of the Cincinnati Bengals no matter who is coaching or playing.

Marvin should have gotten the hell out of dodge when he had the chance.

Re: Carson Palmer demanding a Trade From Bengals.

I have been in the Cincinnati area for a little over 12 years now and the problem as some have already mentioned is the owner.

If it was not for my wife being from Cincy I would have been long gone. The Bengals might be one of the worst franchise in all of sports. As long as Brown is running this team they will only/maybe become mediocre at best. The guy has no interest in making this team a contender. I was shocked that Lewis re-signed for another losing year. lol

As far as brutal weather is concerned that is not true at all. If you consider 3-5 inches of snow in a dumbing I suggest you go to New York, Chicago and experience a true snow storm and report back.

Knowing Brown he won't trade him and try and call his bluff. That's the Bengals for you
