I'm really happy Dent finally got in.

Re: Hall of Fame class of 2011

Dawson was one of the best football players that I ever watched. His size/speed/strength was a level above anyone I seen that play the position. I guess you have to touch the ball to get some serious love. I can't even find a youtube vid on Dawson.

I don't mind these selections.

The only one that didn't get in that annoys me is Cris Carter. Hopefully he gets in eventually.

I guess there's a big difference between playing on a legendary team in Chicago, and being stuck on a perpetual 8-8 team in the Pacific NW.

I agree, when I saw the 10 finalists before they named the actual inductees I thought

"With this group Reed should get in!"

Only to see him be sitting out in the cold AGAIN! What has Reed done to deserve this kind of treatment? Honestly, can someone tell me?

As for the inductees, I have no problems with who got in though I was surprised that Jerome Bettis wasn't even a finalist. I do have to laugh at the whole Cris Carter thing though, wasn't it last year that he basically badmouthed the media? If I have my timeframe right then it looks like the media people took umbrage to that and punished him even more.

I guess being quiet is the best way to be when it comes to waiting for induction.

Oh, did anyone see the Fan's Choice for HOF thing? 5-6 of the top vote getters were all Buffalo Bills. I guess Buffalonions went hog wild on the internet there eh?
