With so many young and impressionable players why would the Bucs want to introduce a malcontent like Burress to them?

Chicago should look at him. Cutler needs a receiver badly.

Because they're trying to win!

Yeah adding malcontents to a young roster is and always has been a great recipe for winning.

Plax to the Bucs makes zero sense.

Only teams that make sense are veteran teams with established coaching staff and established vet QB.

Plus lets not kid oursevles. Plax wasn't an elite WR before he went in to the pokey, he certainly won't be one now.

Re: Plaxico Burress

Why do you people seem to think that Plax is going to be a viable NFL wide receiver? He plays in a position in which his acceleration and speed are a premium, both of which will be diminished. I just don't see a comeback going very well for him.

Why wasn't he elite or close to it? I would love to hear your explanation to this.

Was he ever a Top 5 WR? Did he ever put up huge numbers? No. He was a good player, but he has never been an elite player at his position.

If he was that good, he'd never have been a Giant in the first place.

Luckily no way he ends up here, so I don't have to worry about it.
