Re: Training Camp/Preseason Talk

Peewee Herman showed up at the Cowboys training camp on Friday. See story exceprt below:

"Peewee Herman made quite an impression on the Cowboys today. He encouaged them to do their best and play every down. The Cowboys were really excited about Peewee and felt his presence was the jolt that they needed to help them reach their goals. One of the Cowboys coaches even asked Peewee to take a few snaps from center and Romo learned a few new tricks from him."

Brett Favre himself denies the hackneyed "Favre to Dolphins" rumors that were swirling a bit.

Quote:
“I haven’t heard anything, and I don’t have any interest. No,” Favre “snapped” before jumping into his pickup truck.

Yeah, he didn’t sound especially happy to see a reporter.

“You’re from Miami?” Favre asked. “Don’t you have anything better to do?”

Brutal injury for a corner...especially if he has to come back with screws in his foot. I was looking forward to watching the kid play too.

Brutal for the team as well. They still have the rookie Dline man but, Price was probably expected to contribute big this year. I think the Giants secondary struggled last season if I'm not mistaken.

Football has only been fresh in my mind for a couple of weeks now.

Yeah wasn't really thinking on that one, kinda meant that I don't see our pass rushing being as big of a concern this year assuming everything goes to plan. Hoping Sedrick Ellis has a breakout year,he's been improving each year, playing next to Rogers/Franklin.

If it wasn't for the CBA we would be getting our first taste of football today, oh well.

Nate Robinson attends Seahawks practice — as a spectator

With what the Seahawks have been doing to their roster since coach Carroll arrived it wouldn't really surprise me to see Nate actually try out.
