Re: Training Camp/Preseason Talk

Saints practice was closed to public yesterday, but guess Sproles was impressing people with his speed and toughness.

Gregg Williams also keeps hyping up Patrick Robinson saying it's night and day when comparing him now to this time last year, usually take this stuff with a grain of salt but Gregg isn't one to just hand out compliments so that's a good sign.

Also interested to see DE Junior Gallete in preseason, he impressed people in camp last year with his speed rushing the passer and seems to be doing the same this year from what I hear.

They liked him so much last year that they kept him on the active roster every year even though he was raw and one-dimensional so I'm really excited to see him play.

I tell you what at the beginning of this FA period I lost some faith. Loomis and company has restored it. I love the pick up of Olin Krutz, Sproles, and Franklin. Plus re-signing Moore, Bushrod, and Nicks. If this Junior kid can give us a pass rusher and we remain healthy at HB, which should result in balance play calling, we are back to being an elite team.

Re: Training Camp/Preseason Talk

Meh Galette doesn't have to perform for us to be elite(would be nice tho to groom a Will Smith replacement) our big DT up front will create enough attention an pressure that'll free up Will Smith, Cam, and Alex Brown. Plus we signed a DE from Lions who had 6 sacks in a limited role.

LOL! I didn't mean that one unknown player had to be great just that out of the guys we have or brought in has to be effective rushing the passer.
