When you have Fitzgerald and Breaston to throw to and you still look like ****, shouldn't there be a "below the basement" or "should think about switching career paths" rating?

So...I cannot believe I'm happy with Colt McCoy being listed as average but...that's infinitely better than Jake Delhomme.

Re: ESPN's New QB Rating

Here's an article explaining how they got this QBR thing: (I'm still reading it): http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/68...terback-rating

Here's a site that I didn't know about before that they used for some of their advanced stats: http://www.advancednflstats.com/

And here is the team page for Denver, that basically shows as I argued in the Training Camp thread, that Tim Tebow outplayed Kyle Orton last year (granted he had a much smaller sample size)

It's been "Year of the QB" since the moment the NFL changed Pass Interference to a spot foul and made it so that you can't touch or even look at a WR the wrong way or even better if you sneeze on a QB it's 15 yards . It is a passing league and with the rules that are in place means that the "average" NFL QB should be able to complete 60% of his passes.

Yeah, but then again, if I'm in the mood to lower my IQ a few points, I read the ESPN comments section.

He throws a lot of picks. Not sure how that's hard to see. Even if I let the 14 season go, he's thrown more than 15 picks 4 of his 7 seasons.
