Yeah, sounds like I'd be better off recording SoundFX.

But stuff like this is why I made this thread. Just about everything NFL Films makes is nothing less than phenominal and can't wait til the next Football Life.

As for Turning Point, mestevo you're not really missing anything from it. It's basically like Game of the Week stuff they used to show on NFL Network in the past except with bonus games tossed in but other than that, it's nothing special.
I felt the same way about the Reggie White speech

I recorded the Reggie White/Jerome Brown episode last night, gonna watch it tonight. Watched episode 1 of the Bellicheck one, really enjoyed it, just hadn't had the time to watch these, but they are great.

Caught the NFL films presents episode with my main man Brian Westbrook, "the most underrated player ever"....great stuff.

Last year I got the Superbowls I-XXX off Amazon for a great price....it fluctuates, but now it is $19.

They are great, and pack a ton of extras in there. In addition to the 30 minutes for the actual SB, they have another 30-60 minutes of video for that season. I highly recommend it.

Re: NFL Films Appreciation Thread.

I really hate how NFL Films started licensing their music for stupid crap like Samsung and Burger King commercials. Really cheapens the quality of the music, IMO.

That said, one of my favorite pieces of music ever:

Re: NFL Films Appreciation Thread.

I think it was about a year ago I managed to catch the show that covered the 2005-2006 Steelers that won Super Bowl XL. When it got to the Super Bowl win part I actually teared up a little bit, I had forgotten how much I held the memories of the playoff games and the game against the Bears that turned the season around to my heart, it was the first time a team that I really cared about and the team I'm the biggest fan of won the greatest trophy in American sports.

The Mavs winning the NBA Finals this year came close and I'm sure in 5 years I'll see a show or buy the DVD that remembers the year and I'll feel the same way.

The only thing that I think would top it would be watching the USA win the World Cup.
