I would be happy with both as well, but for argument sake I will got into some detail.

OFFENSE - I am a defense guy, always have been and always will be. Played LBer and S in Pop Warner and CB in high school, always loved the physical part of the game and the hitting.

With that being said, even I would have to go with a QB first overall. They are so important to a team in so many ways and have such a big impact that its hard to go with any other position to start your team with and almost impossible to win without one.

My pick would have to be Rodgers due to his ability, talent and age. If age wasn't a factor, then (even though Im a Jets fan all the way) I would have to take Brady as he is just a winner plain and simple.....if you gave me Peyton however I wouldn't complain.

DEFENSE - If I were to go with a defender first overall there are alot of solid selections and ways to go.

Personally I would want an Inside LBer as they are usually the "QB" of the defense, so I would probably go Patrick Willis. Other guys I would take into consideration would be Revis, Clay Mathews (pass rusher at OLB since I prefer 3-4 D) and maybe Polamalu ( although if Ed Reed was younger I would take him over Troy easily).

If age wasn't a factor then I would go Ray Lewis no question. Was dominant in his prime, great player and leader, and a sure fire HOFer.
