Yeah, that's why I figured it was a stupid question.

I'd love if this was really the case, but it's more like $20 one day, out of the week. If football was like baseball and they played everyday, $20 a week wouldn't sound too bad. Obviously there is some nice worth to this, but if you add the $50 to activate it on PlayStation, you're now looking at $400 for the first season.

Ok, let me rephrase... $20 for a days worth of entertainment isn't that bad. I know your a movie go'er. What does it cost for two people to go to a movie that last two and a half hours?

Ha, I guess I'm just comparing it to what I pay for MLB.TV.

Digging around it looks like in 2008 the offer was sign up for Sunday Ticket for $74.99 over 3 months as a new customer and the Premiere package free... when it was all said and done this was less than outright paying for the Premiere package at the time.

Deal is structured differently, but it was there as it is every year. Semantics.

Source, a blog post from June 2008: http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...www.google.com

web.archive.org shows the Premiere package as listed at $82/mo as of November 2008.
