Yeah I like those too, but I'm fine with the current ones as well.

Re: Reebok Unis

I love how people think that since Nike is taking over it means teams will start getting new uniforms. It will be mostly the make of the uniform and maybe a few alternate-type uniforms

I'm more excited for New Era to start making the sideline hats.

YES YES and YES. The Reebok hats don't quite fit as good as a 59Fifty

And, yes, Nike plays a huge role in the design of the jerseys. The team might have the final say, but the design is handled entirely by the company making the jerseys.
Where are you getting this idea from?

Take it for what it's worth, but this was Nike's response to those sketches that were "leaked".

Nike's brand president Charlie Denson told CNBC's Darren Rovell: "We plan on changing the NFL jersey dramatically just like we've done with the college programs, using new thinking and the greatest technology available. The NFL program hasn't had the same type of advancement in recent years."

From working in sports retail for almost 5 years. You can't just rip off the design of another company's jerseys and put your logo on it. I think that's fairly obvious knowledge. The more classic designs of jerseys that you see the Colts, Bears, Browns, etc. wear predate the companies that design them, that's why you see so many brands making them. They are public domain styles, so to speak.

I think he's speaking in terms of material, not design.
